A bogie diesel hydraulic locomotive, built by R. Yates in 1979 for the Netherhall Woodland Railway at Maryport in Cumbria. It later ran on a railway at Morecambe Bay, before ending up at the Orchard Farm Lakeside Railway in Yorkshire.  When this railway closed we bought the loco and moved it to our workshop for rebuild with a similar mechanical setup to Conway Castle. Formerly named ‘Stella Nova’ and ‘Orchard Flyer’, it was renamed ‘Eric James’ after the owner’s grandfather prior to entering service in 2020.
